Along with the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox and the Assyrian Christians, of course. Roman Catholicism likes to pretend that it goes back to the beginning and that Orthodoxy split from it. Orthodoxy likes to think that it goes back to the beginning and that Roman Catholicism split from it. I like to think that before the schism was just “the Church”; neither the Roman Catholic Church nor the Orthodox fully and faithfully embody that Church, though both are equally close, and both are equally wrong on too many issues to claim the complete embodiment of faith.
Which teachings has the Roman Catholic Church changed? Cause honestly, I spent three years trying to figure that one out. Still haven’t. Became Catholic because of that. No, I can’t say that I liked all the teachings myself when I first began considering becoming Catholic. But my opinion is worthless compared to God’s. I must conform myself to Him. I continue to do so. I love every minute of it (in hindsight :P)!
God Bless!
PAX VOBISCVM
Do you ever get so mad that you need to sing about it and pound your fists on a golf course?
Happens to me all the time…
I think tumblr ate a message. There was a little message note and then I clicked the button and nothing new was there.
Le sad. Tumblr. You’ve never betrayed me like this before.
This after you told me I was going to get a David Tennant clone yesterday.
Not cool tumblr. Not cool.
That was your receipt
Ladies and gentlemen.. I give you the newest addition to the Catholic memes division of tumblr.

CHILDREN MUST WEAR SEAT BELTS AT ALL TIMES
unless you have 73 of them all in one top-heavy vehicle…
It’s an old story; the Evil Atheist Professor is telling his students why god isn’t real, and then the heroic student proves him wrong, usually causing the Evil Professor to leave in shame. It’s a staple of Christians on social media, and the latest example is no exception; instances of it are…
I agree with it all, except that Agnosticism is not the logical choice if you take into account all logic.
If God exists, and you don’t follow Him, you’re not being as good a person as you can.
If God doesn’t exist, and you follow Him (or do what is considered the good measured against God who is all good), then you are a good person and good comes form it.
If God exists, and you follow Him, you’re good and good comes from it.
If God doesn’t exist, and you don’t follow Him (or do what is considered the good measured against God who is all good), then you’re not being the best person you can be.

There’s the logic behind agnostics believing in God because it’s the better choice from a practical standpoint.
Logic can only go so far, since I said that your logic was not entirely correct, and it’s very easy to say that my logic is not entirely correct, but both are still entirely logical.
The evil argument is much simpler however. God created us with free will. He respects that free will, because otherwise you would be forced to love Him, thus love would have no meaning, and we would have no meaning in God’s eyes if there were no love. We are free to make evil choices. Evil happens.
Also, there is one place devoid of God: Hell. Made specifically because Satan and his angels wanted to be away from God, so God made Hell for them out of respect of their wishes. He didn’t force them to love Him.
Also, true that Einstein didn’t say that stuff… but that doesn’t really matter in the long run who said it.
It is also currently impossible to reach absolute zero. It’s immeasurable, technically. We have to take it on faith (well grounded faith in our scientific calculations which are rather accurate) that it exists, and that scientists are right about what would theoretically happen if we were to hit it.
Not a perfect example, but a good simplified example. All examples are simplified though.
If you ever want to see the reason I personally first believed in God, look up the Immovable Mover. It gives us no description of God, just that something perfect, first, etc. must exist. Something unexplainable by human means.
When I get there:
When I start confessing my sins:
When I’m done confessing my sins:
When my sins are absolved:
When I’m given my penance and it’s 3 Hail Mary’s again:
THIS IS SO TRUE
GPOY, except for the 3 Hail Mary’s. I must have creative priests, because it’s always something different and unexpected, but always perfect! God Bless them for “switching it up.” :)
Wow what a strong, leader of a president. I love a man who can read children’s books but has no clue how the checks and balances of the United States work, and is friends with Bill Ayers, to govern my country, Gimme a break.President Obama reading “Where the Wild Things Are”
If Obama isn’t reelected I will lose all faith in humanity.

I refuse to vote for him but I’d love for him to read children’s books on tours.
That’d be awesome.
Also, Michelle is priceless. She’s just fantastic. I’d vote for her maybe.
If I could vote, I’d totally vote Santorum, but I just had to reblog this.
Oh my gosh, I bet he’s a great dad!
